Separately, a huge congrats to Selena Gomez for being nominated in the 2022 Emmys for her production work in the series Only Murders In The Building. If you haven't seen, highly recommend! She’s the second Latina ever to be honored this nomination and she doesn't stop there. Her impact initiative to bring awareness to mental health is giving a voice to so many others, def worth checking out. Ahora, let’s talk about our visit to her home state, Texas!
Houston was so good to us! We were excited to get the chance to meet some of you so we set up a local game night pero la lluvia scared almost everyone away. But, it was all good. Some friends still showed up and we definitely took advantage of happy hour. Check out a recap of our night here.
The main reason we went to Houston was to attend the Spoiled Latina Summit where we met so many other bad ass latinas and loved being part of the experience as vendors. Our biggest seller? Tragos Espicy! 😏😏😏 If you haven't played Espicy, like seriously, what is you doin'? Get it now while summer is still here, it is Latina-approved. 😜
To set up for our vendor booth, we had to get creative since we were limited on what we could travel with. So, we hit up the local Home Depot to DIY ourselves a stand. It came out bueno, bonito y barato, just how we like it! Our girl, Aralis really knows how to get the job done 💪🏽
